Kim Darland , Second Quarter of 2007

Kim is a very positive person with an abundant amount of energy. She arrives to class eager and ready to train hard regardless of the heat, cold, rain or a long day at work. We can challenge her with endless exercises and she responds with a smile and outstanding training form. She is very well liked by her fellow trainees and instructors. Attitude is key to being successful in meeting your goals and making progress...Kim personifies exactly what we encourage.

In Kim's words: "Prior to training through Shark Fitness, my focus pretty much centered around a cardiovascular workout. I've always been a very active person (ballet training, aerobics, running), but I had no upper body strength. I had never done anything for my chest, back and arms. I know you say it all the time, but I really understand now how a cardiovascular workout is achieved through resistance training. I think I could do 14 push-ups when I began the program, and I just broke 55 last week. I enjoy the "total workout", as opposed to a more limited one.
