Oscar: Mary had been a long-time boot-camper when she motivated me to try a Whitecliff (Saturday am) class September 2008. Don Kueneke (trainer) still teases me about my "performance" that day! As a physician and long-time runner, I knew what I should be doing for my own health and fitness, but I let work and family commitments hold me back from committing to my own personal fitness. We love the camaraderie among our 'classmates' and trainers (neither one of us would be described as shy!) and the individual accountability to one's own personal training appeals to us. The opportunity to do something important together (even at 6 am!) is an added bonus for us!

Oscar and Mary have been married for 23 years and live in Des Peres (transplanted from southern Louisiana!) and the lucky parents of Lauryn (20), Adam (16) and Katie (14). Oscar is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital/Saint Louis University for 16+ years and Mary is the physical education teacher at Kirkwood United Methodist Pre-school.
