Some people are simply likeable…George falls into this category. It’s hard to tell if he is stronger physically…or personally. He can always be seen, and heard, leading the Francis Park evening program by example. George guts out every challenge and request asked of him…and you can bet the farm that he will give every ounce of energy to complete the task. A few weeks ago, during the middle of a tough series, I asked the class to move to the next exercise with “great enthusiasm.” At the end of the set, George jumps up and eagerly says something to the effect of “I can’t wait to do shoulders!” That is vintage George. Not only does he motivate himself…but the rest of the class as well. SFT is lucky to have him in the program.

In his words: I was quite active as a youngster taking care of thoroughbred race horses and was involved in sports and conditioning year-round. I lived in the country (WV) for the most part and a lot of the time I had to ride a bike to practices, games, and just about anywhere else. I continued running and weight lifting in college and I also took up racquetball. I tried keeping up with fitness training while getting my career going joining various health clubs and running various trails and other activities on my own. I heard of Keath and the Shark Fitness boot camps from a friend of mine, Father John Vien.
