Jennifer jokes she went into the field of nutrition because she loves food. This is true. On a more serious note, she believes that eating healthy along with adequate physical activity can play a significant role in disease prevention and improving the quality of one's life.
Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and completed the dietetic program to become a Registered Dietitian at Saint Louis University. She also obtained her Master's from SLU in Nutrition and Physical Performance.
Currently, Jennifer is employed at Saint Louis University working as an outpatient dietitian. She teaches "Way to Go Kids," a weight management class for Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. She also privately consults clients on their individual nutritional needs, and frequently lectures on hot nutrition topics at various health facilities and business establishments.
For physical activity, Jennifer enjoys running and weight lifting. However, she also always makes time to take part in her favorite leisure activity- cooking!
